Comparsion of flame propagation velocity of four different dry deposited samples. Sample track length is 30 mm, frames were grabbed from a video shot with 30 fps. Flame propagation speed (\(v_{fp}\)) is calculated from experiment duration (\(t_{exp}\)) (a) Al18+Ni60 \(t_{exp}\) = 3 s \(v_{fp}\) = 10 mm/s, (b) Al40+Ni20 \(t_{exp}\) = 2.5 s \(v_{fp}\) = 12 mm/s, (c) Al18+Ni20 \(t_{exp}\) = 2 s \(v_{fp}\) = 15 mm/s, (d) Al40+Ni60 \(t_{exp}\) = 1.46 s \(v_{fp}\) = 20.5 mm/s
